Idris Y. House
Idris Y. House is located in Kabakum Neighborhood, Dikili district of Izmir, an area that has seen intense villa development in recent years. Situated on parcel 12 of block 57, the structure consists of a total of 2 floors and has been planned in accordance with the client’s requirements and the zoning coefficients of the plot.
The villa, with a total construction area of 120 m², includes 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1 WC. The plot faces a road on its southeast side, which is also the furthest side from neighboring buildings. For this reason, the building is oriented towards the southeast facade, with access provided from the road. Additionally, the structure has been positioned as close as possible to the rear garden setback boundary, thereby enlarging the front garden area. This design ensures a balance between public, semi-public, and private spaces.
The interior spaces have been designed with the principle of maximizing usable area with minimal movement. This approach minimizes dead spaces, allowing functional requirements to be resolved in the most efficient manner possible.
